James Murdakes has been President/CEO since January 1993. Of his 33 years in the computer industry he has spent 25 of them with Control Data Corporation (CDC) in various capacities. He retired from CDC June 1988. During the time between CDC and LSC, he was President/CEO of Clyde Digital, a Utah-based software company. After merging with Raxco, Inc. of Rockville, Maryland, he spent the following 18 months as Senior VP of International.
Jim is married to Bea and they have celebrated 36 years of matrimony. They have three children and one grandchild, Nickolas Constantine Murdakes. Can you guess his ethnic origin!?
Jim's interests haven't changed much over the years - MUSIC - collecting LPs and now CDs, reading mysteries (Bill Granger) and history (Dave Halberstam), favorite authors, tending to weeds at his Florida retreat and doing laps in his swimming pool keeps him focused and fit outside of his passion for work.
